Transition Instructions
We recommend at least a 7 day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet’s digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.

My dog has been a picky eater since he was a puppy.
We tried small bags of food which he enjoys, but when we get the bigger bag he has never finished a bag.
We had to add other foods for him to finish the remaining bag.
But we have bought few large bags, but my dog continues to enjoy it without any additional ingredients.
Highly recommend.

I am hoping that he will lose a little weight after being on the diet for a while.
Aside from allergies causing skin hot spots in March/April of each year, Delta has been perfectly healthy with excellent and consistent stools. Also importantly - Delta loves his food and we even use it for training and treats. I truly hope the price will not increase any more than it already has as you have a loyal customer in us!
Tbh…i think it’s because of this product has less protein than most of dog foods. For other people who also has golden retrievers, any dog food that is above 50% protein may will cause some stupid butt issues…
The only complaining i have for this product is this is overpriced. If i feed my dog as the recommend amount of food everyday this whole bag might only last for about 10 days. So i have to mix with rice and chicken when i feed my dog just to save some budget.

I’ve actually tried 4 different dry foods for my dogs so far. They’re 8 and 5 respectively and out of the varieties I’ve tried they seem to enjoy this and Orijen the most. The great thing about this food is that it’s available both in local pet stores and online so if you happen to run out you can always swing by your local pet store to purchase more.
I find the value to be really good too, the pricing is aligned with other major “premium” dog foods so I don’t have any qualms about buying it. Been a little bummed that it’s not currently available on Prime but I do hope they restock/bring it back soon.

When I got a Havanese puppy last year, he didn't seem to really want the dry food he was raised on at the breeder's, and seemed to enjoy the Royal Canin Persian cat food that was for my cat. So I figured if he likes Royal Canin taste and texture and size, then why wouldn't I buy him Royal Canin dog food appropriate for his breed. The rest is history. Luca loves this food and, Toby doesn't have to share.
By the way, Royal Canin seems to be the only manufacturer that makes breed/size-specific food, which is great. A large breed and a small breed should not have to eat the same size morsels, and obviously there is different energy levels and needs for calories
I did a lot of reading about dog foods when I got my dog in August. I read that a quality food is better digested and will improve your dog's health. I want my dog healthy and happy. And she is! I would highly recommend this dog food to anyone looking. It is well worth it to invest in your best friend!
