The cost is very good and no matter what, ANY WET FOOD IS BETTER THAN ANY DRY FOOD. If you can’t afford to feed them better quality, just know that many cats live to very long ages on Friskies wet food alone. Brushing teeth weekly/fully raw meat diet is the only prevention for tooth decay in cats, kibble DOES NOT HELP TOOTH DECAY IN CATS because cats do not chew. Its like saying eating crackers for all your meals will help with tooth decay.

I add a bit of water to the pate and it thins it out for her and she's able to eat it easier. We give her half a can twice a day, once in the morning and once at night.
This case lasts us a long time. We love it. Our cat loves it. We love that it's primarily fish flavors as our cat prefers fish flavors.
Since Amazon notifies me of delivery I make sure to get these in STAT, so they don't sit in the heat and go bad.

My cat inhales the Salmon Pate and Mariner's Catch Pate. She eats the other two flavors but with slightly less enthusiasm. The latter 2 include liver (see ingredients list) which she doesn't like. The salmon pate is her absolute favorite.
CONDITION/DAMAGE:
A careful check of the cans upon receipt showed one can that was dented despite being in the box. Although the dented can looked accessible, gentle pressure applied to the lid caused liquid to ooze out indicating it was unsafe to use. The other 39 cans were fine. This was my 3rd large case of Friskies canned cat food from Amazon and the 1st with any damage. Still, based on other reviews, I think it prudent to ALWAYS INSPECT ALL CANS upon receipt.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Bottom line, this product is an absolute hit with Onyx who gobbles it up and often begs for more. I will definitely buy again and can recommend to others.
I say its cheaper to buy by the 40 can case, so I can keep their little fluffy butts in pate heaven. Win/win situation! Happy cats, happy human!
CARRAGEENAN is known to slowly poison both humans and pets, causing cancer and other ailments as they age.
There are safer ingredients that can be used instead of CARRAGEENAN so food companies do not have to use it. If consumers become aware of the dangers of feeding CARRAGEENAN and stop buying products that contain it, pet companies will respond.
I wish someone had made me aware before my cat developed tumors and cancer from this ingredient.

I have never had a problem until my last delivery yesterday.
The case inside the shipping box was damaged and had been retaped. A can was missing and there was dried moldy cat food stuck inside the box. Some of the cans were badly dented and had to be thrown away. Damaged did not occur during delivery, it was shipped out from facility this way
I will continue to order of course but would like to see quality control step up and examine the product before shipping.
Hopefully soon this cat food "shortage" will be over and Costco will get stocked back up with the 60 case, but until then I will have to order here. Just make sure that you order before you're out of canned food because two weeks (it even came a week earlier than the 3 weeks I was told in the beginning) is a long time to wait when you need canned cat food. I bought mine case for $26
I have to say, I most enjoy the salmon flavor. However, every time I hear that can pop, I scream at him until he gives me my fix. Sometimes I run into the kitchen and yell at him a lot when I am having withdrawal, sometimes I get a bonus serving. He said that he was glad to have found this on Amazon for the price, stating it would have been hard to carry on his motorcycle.
I would recommend this as all the flavors are great in my belly, but I guess I could see some cats not liking it. If they won't eat it, leave it on the porch and I will.
Original review: I believe the manufacturer of this brand puts all their damaged, non shelf worthy, cans into these perfectly intact boxes, so they can get rid of them. Very deceptive. I would say that a good 2/3 of the box is heavily dented. Some damaged to the point they are compromised and very smelly... This is consistent in every box I get, even those I've gotten elsewhere. I think I will end up changing brands because I don't know how great of a bulk deal it is if I have a handful of unusable cans in each box. It's a shame. This is not a seller issue, this is a manufacture issue.
